This is an excellent option for anyone who wants to learn to dive on holiday.
If you'd like to complete your PADI Open Water Diver while away in a sunny spot, you can complete your eLearning and pool training before you go and spend more of your holiday actually diving (or sitting around the pool)!
What will I do?
When you book your PADI Open Water Diver referral, one of the Dive Academy team will contact you to arrange access to PADI's eLearning package. You'll read about diving, watch videos and answer quizzes to learn all the theory you need to know. Typically this takes approximately 8-10 hours over five chapters. You don't need to do this all at once, but you do need to complete your eLearning prior to your pool date(s).
You'll then join your instructor to complete five pool dives with us at Dive Academy in our heated pool in Yeovil to learn and practice skills that you'll use as a diver. You'll repeat most of these skills in open water, happy in the knowledge that you have gained the knowledge and skills you need.
How do I qualify?
You'll receive an email asking for some details to confirm your booking. We will also send you details of how to download the short eLearning package which you need to complete prior to your session.
