A professional, modern scuba diving centre
Dive Academy was founded in 2016 by Darren and Louise Hector.
They had learned to dive with a dive centre in Sussex in 2008, shortly before travelling to Barbados to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. It was in Barbados that Darren completed his first non-training dives which set him on the path to become a PADI Course Director, the highest rating that can be achieved within the PADI system.
Today, Dive Academy is a scuba diving school, a well-stocked retail store selling equipment from the leading dive brands, a service centre providing periodic maintenance and repair of scuba diving equipment, and a dive club with a growing membership. We have our own on-site pool within which we conduct classes in small groups and we also have an on-site coffee bar.
